Bufo bufo (Linnaeus, 1758)

Head wider than is long with large, protruding eyes. Skin rough with numerous tubercles and warts, back brown, greyish or reddish-brown with irregular pattern of spots and streaks. Underside pale. Total length 8-16 cm.
