Building material; Tile
Fragment of box flue-tile, the upper surface has combed parallel decoration in three different directions. The fragment has dark orange-brown surfaces with reddish purple core, hard fabric and contains large white rounded inclusions and a little sand. Marked in ink ‘Tile Meols Cheshire’. Meols catalogue number 238, (Griffiths, D; Philpott, R; Egan, G, 2007).
