Candlestick element

Inverted bowl segment from a candelabrum, two joining fragments. The lower edge of the bowl, with one row of beading, curves sharply inward. The upper surface, pierced to fit loosely over a shaft, is engraved with a simple tongue pattern. Grey and green corrosion similar to that on pieces damaged in the 1941 fire-bombing of the museum.
