Canopic Box Lid

Solid lid with domed profile. Black with yellow detail including a column of text beginning "The Osiris...". Perhaps from a caopic box shaped like a granary. Has previously been described as the shrine from a Ptah-Sokar-Osiris figure. Sticker on the base with the number 1113 in ink (de Rustafjaell colleciton 1907 acquisition). CONDITION NOTE (1998): Wood dry and splitting, surface worn, surface loss and surface dirt.
