Canopic Chest Fragment

Cavetto cornice, probably broken from a canopic chest in the shape of a shrine or naos. Painted with dark vertical stripes against a white background. Label with ornate blue border and pencilled number 487 D stuck to the surface. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, wood is dry and split, surface loss, cracks, surface dirt.
