Tall canopic jar carved from 'Egyptian alabaster', inscribed with five columns of hieroglyphic text in a rectangular panel. The inscription reveals the jar is intended to receive the intestines as the falcon-headed god Qebehsenuef is mentioned three times. Note on label once sellotaped to the jar: 14700. EXTRA LOT.
