Canopic Jar

Plain limestone canopic jar (no lid). Marked with the incorrect accession number 1973.2.350 which has been crossed out and amended with correct number. Note inside the jar says it is from Stevens sale, lot 293 (12.11.07?). CONDITION NOTE (1998): Pitted all over surface, chip on inside of top rim. Black ink stains on outer surface. Purchased at Stevens's Auction Rooms, London, 12 November 1907 Lot 293.
