Canopic Jar Lid

Roughly circular limestone lid representing the baboon head of Hapi. The face is painted red with traces of blue for the fur. Diameter of lid 'base' is 103 mm; the depth is 15 mm. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Concretions, surface dirt, loss of pigment, previous repair to lid, worn, labels adhered, surface dirt.
