A hollow canopic jar lid iin the form of a human head made from a buff pottery. The face is finely modelled and the wig was painted black. Front section of the neck is missing. Broken and mended from large fragments. 

Has been displayed with Canopic Jar 1973.4.412.

CONDITION NOTE 1998: Previous repair, holed, surface loss, surface dirt.
