Canopic Jar Lid

On display

Canopic jar lid in the form of the jackal-headed Duamutef who protected the stomach. Carved from 'Egyptian alabaster' (travertine) with painted eyes. Record Card does state that 1973.2.354 is just a jar without lid. This lid must have a different number but will be known as 1973.2.354b until it's original number can be traced.
