Career papers of the brothers Leslie and John Morton, Lusitania crew survivors

Career papers, photographs, letters and newscuttings relating to brothers Leslie and John Morton. Both were employed as Able Seamen on board Lusitania during the fateful final voyage, and both survived the sinking. They aided in the rescue effort, and Leslie was heralded as a hero in the press. He was later awarded a silver Board of Trade medal for saving lives at sea by King George V (MMM.2006.4.1)
