Carved Relief

Fragment of sandstone with two lines of hieroglyphic inscription in sunk relief that includes the place name Khet "Hittite land". Donated by Professor John Garstang, 1947 without a record of where it was acquired. The item was included in the 10 - 26 July 1906 annual exhibition after fieldwork at Esna, Hierakonpolis and Kostamneh (Nubia).
