Limestone trial piece or sculptor's model depicting in raised relief a bird, which is most likely to be a swallow (Hirundo rustica), but could be a housemartin (Delichon urbica). This image of the bird was used in Egyptian hieroglyphs to write the word great, 'wr' (Gardiner's hieroglyph sign list code G36).
