"Castor", built 1782

Glass lantern slide by unknown photographer. Advertisement for Daniel Brocklebank's ship, "Castor (2)", in Williamson's Liverpool Advertiser, 24 March 1784. The "Castor" was built at Whitehaven, Cumberland, in 1782, and was the second Brocklebank vessel to carry that name.
