Cecil Emily, Countess of Sefton

This work is a copy of another work in the collection, WAG 10255 of the wife of the 4th Earl of Sefton. Antoine de Salome came to England in about 1848, and became a very successful society portrait painter, exhibiting 14 times at The Royal Academy, and twice at The Society of British Artists.
