Pierced stone reel that was used as a finial on a chariot harness. Marked by the excavator in black TA. 31.32/ 647 T.34.3. Find number 30/647. From the 'Wady Houses' area T.34.3 in the North Suburb, described as "the area to which this number has been given consisted originally either of slums or else of a large number of outhouses and servants' rooms belonging to a big house, now entirely washed away by the wady". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, surface loss, chipped edges, pitted, surface dirt. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 153613: "REEL Stone (chipped).
