Chelodina oblonga Gray, 1841

Freshwater turtle with very long, thick neck and long, flattened head, limbs are jointed and paddle-shaped. The shell is oblong to narrow oval in shape, grey, olive-brown dark brown to black above, white below. Length up to 50 cm.
