Tanged chisel, cast in one piece with leaf-shaped flat blade, smooth, rounded end. Handle nearly round in section, blade rectangular in section. Turfa observes that although chisels must have been universally used in woodworking, their shape made them highly desirable for hoarding, and many have been identified in hoard contexts of the Late Bronze and Early Iron Ages
