Christ thorn, Ziziphus spina-christi. Collected at the pyramid town of Lahun by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889-90. Kept within a glass test tube with cork stopper. Annotation in black on the cork by Percy Newberry: "Kahun Z. Lotus. XII". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface fragmenting slightly, surface dirt, old infestation. Dimensions are for the container.
