Churchill Way Flyover under construction

Photographic print by Keith Pearson Lewis, dated 17 November 1969. Image shows the construction of the Churchill Way Flyover, connecting Dale Street and Lime Street in Liverpool city centre. Taken from near the top of Dale Street looking toward what is now the World Museum, with the Old Scotch House pub on the corner of Johnson Street visible to left. The Flyover opened in 1970 as part of an inner-city masterplan, and was demolished in 2019.
