Amulet in the shape of a claw of a bird or feline carved out of carnelian and incised at the top with four lines. Pierced for stringing so that the claw hung downwards. Probably from an anklet. Tip of the claw is broken. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 30420. Formerly in the collection of Hon. Richard Bethell. Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 15-17 December 1924, lot 144.
