Fragment of garment(?) in wool and linen. Ground: green wool. Colours: green, red, natural. Motif: roundel with formal plant motifs surrounding a central rosette within a formal border. Technique: open plain weave ground, giving gauze effect.  Tapestry roundel with built up shapes, slits outlined in close soumak, round single warp-threads. Roundel sewn to ground. 

Ends per cm 14 over ground, 10 over tapestry; Picks per cm 11 over ground, 36 over tapestry.

CONDITION: Very worn, fragile, fragmentary.
