Circular medallion in wool and linen. Ground: wool and linen warp. Colours: Red, white, purple, black, brown, green, orange, yellow. Motif: border of white heart-shaped motifs on red ground enclosing plant motifs on purple ground. Technique: tapestry, using built-up shapes, curved weft, slits, dovetailing and some outlines in soumak. Ends per inch 24; Picks per inch 104 over ground. CONDITION: Slightly holed.
