Cloth Amulet

A cloth, probably felt, amulet recorded as being used by a nun or ani. One rectangle of cloth folded over into a square and stiched together with a running stich. Five further stitches have been made on the front and back to create a simple mandala or cosmic diagram. A double loop of thread at the top would have been used to attach the amulet to a belt or strap. It is recorded that there is a paper inside the cloth printed with an amulet that is for warding off sickness.
