Coffin Fragment

Painted fragment of a cartonnage mummy-case, with seated feline-headed deity with hieroglyphs below. Plain linen back. Label stuck to the surface annotated "part of a coffin". Label on the back with ornate blue border, annotated "2368". Also marked in ink "5". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, surface decoration cracking a little, some surface loss, surface dirt, surface scratched, label adhered to surface, surface dirt. Source not recorded (compare labelling with falcon figure 1978.291.158).
