Coffin Fragment

Beard from a mummiform coffin. Carved from wood with a layer of plaster applied and painted blue and yellow. Peg at the top for attatchment to the chin of the coffin. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, dry, surface decoration is lifting and flaking, surface loss, surface dirt.
