Coffin Fragment

Fragment of a coffin, one side prepared with plaster and painted with polychrome decoration against a yellow painted background colour. The decoration includes the upper part of a seated mummiform figure wearing a blue wig and beard. Trace of another seated figure above. The other side of the coffin has suffered from termite damage. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Splitting, decoration is cracked, surface dirt.
