Information

Coin of Ptolemy VI, Philometer (Loving His Mother); Born c.186 BC, died 145 BC; Became king of Egypt in 180 BC Obverse: head of Isis turned right, crowened with grain, dotted border. Reverse: an eagle with spread wings (?) standing left on thunderbolt, monogram in right field (?)dotted border around can be seen. There is no obverse Inscription, however the reverse inscription reads: [ΠΤΟ]ΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ ΒΑ[ΣΙΛΕΩΣ].
