Coin of Ptolemy I Born c.367 BC, died c. 282 BC; Became king of Egypt in 305 BC
Mint: Alexandria
Obverse: laureate head of Zeus turned to the right, dotted border around;
Reverse: eagle with spread wings standing left on thunderbolt, monogram (A) in left field can be seen as well as a dotted border (?)
There is no obverse Inscription, however the reverse inscription reads: [ΠΤΟ]ΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ.
