Collection of street photographs by Gerry Castle taken in 1960s Liverpool

Collection of 33 silver gelatin prints and an envelope of acetate negatives by Gerry Castle (1922-2022). Street scenes of Liverpool in the 1960s. Images taken around areas such as Toxteth, Everton, and the Docks. Several images show children playing in the streets, and on a playground near the Anglican Cathedral. A fascinating record of social history during a period of urban regeneration.
