Ivory comb with missing teeth, rectangular handle ornamented by a carved animal at the top edge, possibly to be identified as Hathor (Cow with horns) but one horn is broken off. Very small size. From the Fort Cemetery at Hierakonpolis, grave no. 66F - described as the richest grave excavated; belongoing to a child with burial goods dated to Naqada IId2.

Recorded in the register as being from grave 66F along with a bronze bracelet (25.11.05.49) and bronze fish hook (25.11.05.50). Compare with W. M. F. Petrie, 'Prehistoric Egypt' (1920), pl. XXIX; Sequence Date about 30- 40.
