Programme for a concert held on board the H.M.T. Britannic, formerly SS Britannic, White Star Line, during its service as a troop ship during the Second Boer War, 5th March 1902. Printed on White Star Line RMS Britannic headed notepaper with a header drawing of the vessel. Britannic was returned to White Star Line in October 1902. Black and white postcard image of ship as HMTS (His Majesty's Troop Ship), printed in Southampton. Master of the vessel during this voyage is Captain Hayes, later Sir Bertram Fox Hayes, born Birkenhead, died Liverpool, served with White Star Line 1898-1924.
