Ostracon with Coptic inscruption in black ink. A wine and vinegar account between monks, one of whom being "Brother Mena". Ten lines of writing; lines five to nine are nearly obliterated. Found by Thomas Dyer-Edwardes in Western Thebes. In the archive there is correspondance between Dyer-Edwards and W E Crum (dated 21st and 23rd August 1920).
CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped edges, small area of repair, surface loss, surface dirt, labels adhered to surface.
