Cordylus cordylus (Linnaeus, 1758)

A small lizard with flattened body and triangular, flattened head. Colour varies, but is usually dull brown to reddish-brown with irregular dark markings and sometimes a [pale cream stripe along the back. Belly is dirty white to dull red-brown. Length up to 20 cm.
