Cosmetic Palette

Cosmetic palette carved out of quartz, a hard stone favoured amongst the Nubian A-Group for making palettes, used to grind pigments such as malachite or galena, from which eye-paint was made. Rectangular with rounded corners. From Kostamneh, grave 50 K'06.
