Cosmetic Palette Amulet

Amulet in the form of a miniature sized cosmetic palette with two horns with one broken off and missing. Pierced at the base. Excavation not recorded but most likely from when Amy Urlin was part of an excavation team led by her brother-in-law, Professor Flinders Petrie, most likely Diospolis Parva (or perhaps Abydos). Compare with W. M. Flinders Petrie, 'Prehistoric Egypt' (London, 1920) pl. XLV nos. 1-6, 40; Amulets (London, 1914) pl. XLII nos. 251a-e.
