Carved stone jar of the type used for kohl eye makeup. WHMM no. 32832. Sold at Sotheby's, London, 15-17 December 1924 Lot 547: "A carved pottery Plaque, with the head of an offical wearing a pleated head-dress, in three quarter relief, on wood stand; and a small stone Vase". CONDITION NOTE (1998): Chipped rim, pitted, surface dirt.
