Cosmetic Vessel

Bone (or ivory?) tube, cracked down one side with a large lump of kohl solidified inside at one end. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, chipped, scratched, surface dirt. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession number 58248: KOHL STICK Ivory, containing some kohl. 3¼" x 1¾" diameter. Egyptian XIX Dynasty.
