Carved black stone jar of the type used for kohl eye makeup. With separate collar (40 x 7 mm), but no lid. Compare with W. M. F. Petrie, Stone and Metal Vases (London, 1937) no. 713. CONDITION NOTE (1998): worn, chipped, surface dirt. Danson Catalogue 2 no. not recorded.
