Carved stone jar of the type used for kohl eye makeup. Base marked with the Danson collection no. 299. Lid 1977.112.230 seems to be a match for the jar (shown together in one of the images). Danson Catalogue 2 no. 299. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Worn, pitted, surface dirt.
