Cosmetic Vessel

Alabaster cosmetic vessel of a globular body and no base. The vessel has a short neck with no rim. The surface of the vessel is yellowish and shiny with some white areas across the body. Dated as being from the 5th Dynasty. Base marked in pencil 201 V. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Badly cracked, dirty in cracks, chipped rim, slightly pitted and scratched, surface dirt, label adhered to side.
