Cosmetic Vessel

A large kohl pot with a thin base, a long upright body and a wide circular rim which has a hole in the middle. The vessel has a flat circular lid with one broken area. The lid fits the top of the vessel but is smaller in diameter to the rim of the vessel. Traces of kohl have stained the interior of the vessel and the lid. The surface of the vessel is transluscent and has several marks. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped, scratched, discoloured, some pitting, powder, surface dirt.
