Cosmetic Vessel

Steatite standing monkey holding a cylindrical kohl tube vessel carved from fawn coloured steatite. The tube is incised with a design featuring a fish with a border of lines. There are two small holes near the rim of tube and between the monkey's arms and the tube that might have functioned to secure a lid. The lid is missing and the right leg of the ape is chipped.
