Information
A cosmetic vessel with a cylindrical body that narrows at the base and opens up widely at the mouth which has a flat circular rim. The external surface of the vessel is shiny with light colour specs of the stone and the interior is worn. The vessel has the excavation number marked in pencil at its base 24 A '06. From tomb 24 A’06 at Abydos excavated by Professor John Garstang in 1906.
CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped rim and base, running cracks from rim, some mottling, scratched, surface dirt, label inside.
