Cosmetic Vessel

Miniature eye-paint pot in the shape of a lug-handled stone storage jar. Round base, globular form, constricted mouth with roll rim which is chipped. There are two small lug-handles which are not pierced. Banded orange-brown hard limestone (?) of a marble appearance. MacGregor collection no. 3457 marked in ink on the base.
