A flat circular lid from a kohl pot, from a disturbed burial excavated in 1925 (no. 702) The centre of the interior of the lid is round shaped in order to seal off the mouth of the pot. The lid was found in the same tomb as 56.22.177 but it does not seem to belong to the pot. From tomb 702 excavated by the Egypt Exploration Society, 1925-26, and given to the East Anglia Egyptian Society in return for their subscription. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Very scratched, worn, adhesive on surface
