Cosmetic Vessel Lid

Glazed faience disc-shaped lid with a large flat boss on the underside, allowing it to fit into the mouth of the cosmetic vessel. Top is decorated with a floral motif. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Surface chipped and pitted, discolouration, surface dirt. Record card for 1973.1.7 records "Six faience tiles; Five rosettes; one rectangular. Pale green to dark blue glaze".
