Information

Small, stout lizard with large, blunt head, short limbs and long,tapering tail, there are scattered spines on the sides of the neck and conspicuous eardrums. Back is pale to reddish-brown, usually with a pale stripe running from the head to the base of the tail, the body is covered in a pattern of dark lines giving it a netted appearance. Length up to 26 cm.
