Small squat globular pot with round base. Slight neck constriction with everted rim. Patches of blackening to the outer surface and dripped down the inside. John Garstang found over 4000 pottery containers at Beni Hasan and created a classification system for the site. This jar appears to match his 'type 32'. Garstang described the cup as one of three found in tomb 586.
