Pottery cup. Fine buff ware, painted red on the outside and over the rim. Broken and mended. From Faras, the Meroitic cemetery, no. 1-1028-3. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Running cracks, previous repair, adhesive stains, chipped, discoloured, surface dirt.
